Extended evening service returns for the holiday shopping season

PRINCE RUPERT – The holiday season is upon us, and to make shopping experience a little more enjoyable, the City of Prince Rupert and BC Transit are pleased to announce the return of extended evening service every day from December 14 to 18 and from December 21 to 23.

During this time, evening Friday schedules will be in effect every weekday. The evening service will apply to all scheduled routes and will make it easier for everyone to complete their holiday shopping on time.

As a reminder, masks are mandatory on all BC Transit buses, with the exception for those who are unable to do so due to medical reasons. Buses are running with limited capacity to allow for physical distancing on board the bus.
