Transit System: South Okanagan-Similkameen
PENTICTON – The City of Penticton and BC Transit are making it easier for people to have fun at this year’s Peach Festival – August 3 to 7 – without having to worry about traffic and parking.
Once again this year, there will be enhanced transit service during the festival, with extended service on Route 5 Main Street to Skaha Lake. On Wednesday through Sunday, buses will run hourly until midnight, including Sunday service on August 7 only.
The last bus to leave the Peach Festival site will depart at 11:41 p.m., and a temporary bus stop will be set up at on the north side of Lakeshore Drive, next to the Festival site.
