Transit System: Chilliwack
CHILLIWACK – Chilliwack Transit is stepping up to help residents celebrate Canada Day safely, with additional runs on July 1 on the 2 Evans bus route, taking people to and from the festivities at Townsend Park and the Exhibition Field Green Space.
Bus rides will also be free on Route 2 only. The extra service will mean buses on that route will run as little as 12 minutes apart between 11 a.m. and 11:15 p.m.
The rest of the system will operate on a Sunday schedule and regular fares.
