VICTORIA – BC Transit and its affiliated unions have had an incredible year with our employee charity fundraising campaign, raising over $60,000 in support of the Help Fill a Dream Foundation and the United Way of Greater Victoria.
The BC Transit fundraising campaign kicked off the 30-year anniversary celebration of the Help Fill a Dream Foundation. You can read about how our two organizations have a long history here: Man with a Dream Drives an Organization with a Purpose.
Employees generously donate through payroll deductions and by participating in a variety of fundraising events. The funds will be presented to Help Fill a Dream and United Way representatives at a small event on Tuesday, November 24 at 12:15p.m. in the BC Transit boardroom.
