Transit System: Chilliwack
CHILLIWACK – The City of Chilliwack and BC Transit are hosting
a Customer Appreciation celebration on September 11, 2013.
The celebration begins at the downtown transit exchange at the corner of 1st
Avenue and Spadina at 9 am with elected officials and BC Transit executives
personally thanking customers and offering them a small gift. There will be
other surprise locations where community leaders, Chilliwack city staff and
BC Transit employees will be participating in the thank you effort.
Earlier this month, service hours on the Chilliwack Transit system grew by
more than 30% with two new routes and better north/south connections.
The Customer Appreciation celebration is intended to thank BC Transit riders
who are embracing the system improvements that will make public transportation
in Chilliwack more effective and efficient than ever before.
