Transit System: Cowichan Valley
COWICHAN VALLEY – BC Transit and the Cowichan Valley Regional District are offering complimentary transit service for veterans and serving members of the Canadian Forces for the week leading up to Remembrance Day, as well as complimentary service to all members of the community on Remembrance Day.
Complimentary regular transit and handyDART rides are available to all veterans and current serving members of the Canadian Forces on November 4-10 by simply showing their Canadian Forces identification.
On Remembrance Day, regular transit and handyDART services are complimentary, and will be operating on a Sunday schedule.
The complimentary transit rides are not in effect for the Cowichan Valley Commuter routes.
