    Transit 101 session with local seniors a big success

    For many seniors, public transit provides a key connection to their communities, and the ability to navigate their later years without a vehicle. A couple members of the BC Transit recently did a presentation for a group of seniors in Metchosin that were keen to learn more about taking the bus.

    BC Transit Corporate Security teams with Saanich PD to locate missing youth

    Every minute counts when someone is missing, and on February 6, the quick work of Corporate Investigator Leah Jackson helped police refine their search and reach a positive conclusion with a missing at-risk youth in Saanich.

    The heavy snowfall was whipping sideways into the windshield of Brice O’Neill’s full Health Connections bus on the return trip from Kamloops. If that wasn’t stressful enough, some of his customers started calling out to him to pull over, because someone on the bus was having multiple seizures.
