BC Transit and its partners are happy to announce that holiday events are taking place across the province. From parades to light tours and even the Santa Bus, there is no shortage of great events to take part in this holiday season!
Chilliwack – After a two year break during the pandemic, the Chilliwack Rotary Christmas Parade is back on December 3, 2022. The parade starts and on Yale Road front of Chilliwack Senior Secondary School and travels through historic downtown Chilliwack.

Cranbrook – BC Transit, the City of Cranbrook and NextGen Transit wants you to help us fill a bus with non-perishable food and cash donations. All donations collected at the Safeway Foods at the Cranbrook Mall will go to the Cranbrook Food Bank.

Kamloops – The 42nd annual Santa Parade is taking place on November 27, 2022. Get cozy as this year’s theme is Pyjama Party!
A temporary downtown transit exchange will be in effect on St. Paul Street, between 5th and 6th Avenue during the parade.

Penticton – BC Transit and the City of Penticton are offering a free shuttle service to take people to and from the Santa Claus Parade and to the Penticton Vees game on Saturday, December 3, 2022.

The Lights Tour is taking place again this holiday season. On December 14, board the bus (no fare required) at any of the four stops along the way and enjoy a tour of Christmas lights around Penticton.

Powell River – Leave your car at home and take transit for only 25 cents! On December 9 rural customers can ride the bus for 25 cents, and 25 cents on fixed-route transit on both December 9 and 10.
The Santa Bus comes to town on Friday December 16 and Saturday, December 17, 2022. Join Santa on the bus for some holiday music and a candy cane.
