Celebrate Canada Day with BC Transit!

COMOX VALLEY – Canada Day is always a great time for celebration, and for Canada’s 149th birthday, the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) and BC Transit are making it easier for you to get there by bus.

Public transit on Friday, July 1, will be available by donation so you can head for the parade on 5th Street, take in the events at Lewis Park, or enjoy time with family and friends without the worries of driving and parking.

There will be special Canada Day bus service, including the limited-stop 34 C2C Express, with two trips per hour from Comox Mall to the intersection of Ryan Road and the Old Island Highway, and special connector buses from Cumberland and Royston/Buckley Bay.

While on the bus, be sure to snap a selfie and enter to win prizes from the CVRD’s In2Transit promotion – more details available at www.comoxvalleyrd.ca/In2Transit.
