Transit System: Prince George
Prince George – To celebrate Canada Day, the City of Prince George and BC Transit are pleased to offer $1 fare on all routes on Sunday, July 1, making it easier for everyone to skip the parking and enjoy the festivities at Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park.
Instead of the special $1 fare, passengers may choose to donate a non-perishable food item to the Salvation Army in exchange for riding the bus on Canada Day.
Bus routes will run on a regular Sunday schedule, with extended service on routes 15 UNBC/Downtown, 46 Queensway, 88 Westgate and 89 Hart.
Regular service and fares will apply on Monday, July 2.
