VICTORIA – CAW Local 333 and BC Transit are pleased to announce
that a tentative agreement has been reached. Job action will end immediately
and the Victoria Regional Transit system will return to full service as soon
as possible. Ratification of the agreement by CAW members and the BC Transit
Board will take place in the next few days.
BC Transit has decided to move the trial of the Vicinity bus to areas outside
of the Victoria.
BC Transit and CAW are committed to our customers and we appreciate their patience
during this challenging round of negotiations.
