VICTORIA – For the continued safety of volunteers and customers, BC Transit has cancelled the annual Stuff the Bus event in Victoria to ensure continued alignment with public health orders.
We understand the importance of donations this time of year and although the event is cancelled, we encourage people to reach out directly to our official partners for Stuff the Bus, The Mustard Seed Food Bank and The Salvation Army’s Stan Hagen Centre for Families, on alternate donation options.
As we have throughout the pandemic, BC Transit continues to follow the guidance of the Provincial Health Officer and WorkSafe BC.
BC Transit appreciates the communities’ involvement in the past to support the Stuff the Bus event in Victoria. We hope to bring back the event in the future to continue helping those in need.
