Transit System: Campbell River
Campbell River – BC Transit is informing customers of a service expansion effective April 22, 2019 in the Campbell River Transit System.
The service expansion will include:
- Rerouting the route 7 Petersen to:
- travel along Ironwood and 13th bringing it closer to seniors facilities in that area
- Service the new stop at the North Island Hospital
- Transit customers using routes 7 Petersen and 4 Campbellton will have a slight adjustment to trip times to accommodate the routing adjustment
BC Transit and the City of Campbell River are making the change to address feedback from the community about service to Ironwood and the hospital. The expansion is approximately 240 service hours.
