Transit System: Campbell River
Campbell River – handyDART services in Campbell River are receiving expanded weekday service to provide customers more opportunities to utilize the service starting August 6, 2019.
BC Transit and the City of Campbell River are pleased to announce expansion hours to handyDART services in the Campbell River Transit System.
handyDART is an accessible, door-to-door shared transit service for people with permanent or temporary disabilities that prevent them from using fixed-route transit without assistance from another person.
BC Transit works hard to match the needs of custom transit services across the province. The handyDART expansion will include:
- Service an hour earlier in the mornings
- Service three hours later in the evenings
- Service will now be provided from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday to Friday
- Saturday service will span from 9:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
