Transit System: Campbell River
CAMPBELL RIVER – The City of Campbell River, We Wai Kai First Nation and BC Transit are pleased to introduce the new Route #16 Quinsam. A total of 800 added annual service hours will come with new route.
Effective January 13, 2014 the Route #16 Quinsam will deliver four round trips weekdays from downtown Campbell River to the We Wai Kai Nation. Service hours will run from 7:35 am to 4:55 pm. There will be three round trips on Saturdays on the Route #16 Quinsam with service hours from 10:45 am to 4:55 pm.
The added route will not only provide coverage to the We Wai Kai Nation, it will also deliver new service to the Willis Road area, and increased service to Peterson Road.
“Along with our partners, the City of Campbell River and the We Wai Kai Nations, we are proud to jointly introduce this new and vital service,” said BC Transit President and CEO Manuel Achadinha. “Our goal is to connect people and communities by providing an efficient and effective transit system.”
