Busing in a winter wonderland & Holiday Service

NANAIMO – It’s not too late to help spread the spirit of the holiday season, the Regional District of Nanaimo and BC Transit are offering folks the opportunity to fill a bus with non-perishable food and cash donations until Sunday, December 15.

All donations made on the Winter Wonderland bus benefit the Nanaimo Loaves & Fishes Community Food Bank and the Salvation Army Parksville Food Bank.

Woodgrove Centre – Transit Exchange

Wednesday, December 11

9:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.

Saturday, December 14

9:30 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Sunday, December 15

Country Club – Transit Exchange

9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m

Frank Crane Arena – Beban Park

11:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Downtown – Transit Exchange

3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Holiday Service

December 24 – Reduced Weekday* Service ending at 7:30 p.m.

December 25 – Sunday Service (New for 2019)

December 26 – Saturday Service

December 27–30 – Reduced Weekday/Weekend* Service

December 31 – Extended Weekday Service until 2:30 a.m. Free Evening Service from 8:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.

January 1 – Sunday Service (New for 2020)

January 2–3 – Reduced Weekday* Service

*School specific trips are not in service as school is not in full session
