BC Transit's Gift for the Class of 2013

CORPORATE – BC Transit warmly congratulates all high school graduates. As a reward for nearly 17,000 graduates in 20 communities across the province, GradPASS is being gifted to the class of 2013. The special pass offers two days of free, unlimited travel during the month of June.

GradPASS was first introduced in Vancouver in 1988 as part of the Counterattack Program. The Victoria Regional Transit System embraced the program in 1990. Over the past 23 years, the number of participating communities has grown.

In 2013, GradPASS will be given to students in Victoria, Campbell River, Mission, Abbotsford, Cranbrook, Kamloops, Kelowna, Trail, Rossland, Nanaimo, Penticton, Powell River, Prince George, Prince Rupert, Squamish, Whistler, Pemberton, Vernon, Salt Spring Island and the Sunshine Coast.

GradPASS is easy to use. Students simply scratch off their two chosen travel days and show the card to their bus driver. GradPASS is not transferable and can used only on applicable local systems.
