Transit System: Squamish, Whistler
BC Transit service will be affected in Squamish and Whistler during the RBC GranFondo taking place along the Sea to Sky highway on Saturday, September 10, 2016.
Squamish
Customers in Squamish can expect service interruptions between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. All routes will be affected during this time.
From 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Highway 99 will be closed in Squamish leading to the following interruptions:

Route 1 Brackendale: buses will be unable to service Garibaldi Way, Diamond Head Road and Mamquam Road.

Route 2 Highlands: buses will only be going to Mamquam Elementary and will not be able to access the Highlands portion of the route.

Route 3 Valleycliffe: buses will not be operational during this time.

Whistler
In Whistler, expect delays and service interruption to transit on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 9am to 6pm due to the RBC GranFondo event. A list of affected routes is available on the BC Transit Whistler Transit System website. Transit service will be free in Whistler until 6pm on Saturday, September 10, 2016 courtesy of the Resort Municipality of Whistler.
