GEORGE – You’re invited to ride BC Transit for a loonie on Canada
Day. BC Transit and the City of Prince George are showing their national pride
with a one day discount on transit services on Sunday July 1, 2012 from 10:30
am until 6:30 pm.
A regular adult fare on BC Transit in Prince George is $2.25 and the regular
fare for seniors/youth is $1.75. For Canada Day all rides are just $1.
Park and ride services will be available at the Hart Exchange, Pine Centre,
Spruceland, Caledonia Mobile Home Park and Westgate Exchange for convenience
of those attending the Canada Day event at Fort George Park.
BC Transit encourages everyone to safely mark Canada Day with our loonie service
whether you are at a large public gathering or simply spending time with family
and friends. Bus pass and ticket holders are welcomed to use pre-purchased fares
on Canada Day too.
