BC Transit and Unifor Local 333-BC have ratified a new three-year collective agreement.
The agreement reached is consistent with the BC Government’s Shared Recovery Mandate. The agreement provides for wage increases of a flat rate of $0.25 per hour and a 3.24% increase in Year 1, a minimum of 5.5% to a maximum of 6.75% in Year 2, subject to the Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and a minimum of 2.0% to a maximum of 3.0%, subject to the COLA MOU in Year 3. The renewed agreement also reflects the mutual interest of the Union and BC Transit and our strategic plans and operational initiatives.
Unifor Local 333-BC represents approximately 680 transit operators and maintenance employees in the Victoria Regional Transit System.

The previous labour agreement expired on March 31, 2022. The terms of the new agreement are from April 1, 2022, through to March 31, 2025.
