BC Transit and the City of Powell River implement service changes

POWELL RIVER – In order to continue offering Powell River Regional Transit System customers with critical transportation solutions, BC Transit and the City of Powell River are making adjustments to transit services as part of our response to COVID-19, starting April 6, 2020.

The service changes also take into account having sufficient service to allow for physical distancing while traveling on public transit in BC Transit communities.

The changes will include:

  • Implementation of Sunday level service on all routes with additional trips on routes 1 Townsite and 3 Westview

    • Please visit BCTransit.com for specific details

  • Routes 12 Stillwater, 13 Texada Island and 14 Lund are not affected by this change
