BC Transit and employees represented by MoveUP Local 378 have ratified a new agreement under the B.C. government’s Sustainable Services Negotiating Mandate.
The agreement focuses on improving business services and ensuring fair and affordable compensation. MoveUP Local 378 represents approximately 180 administrative staff working at BC Transit.
The agreement includes:
- Three-year term (April 1, 2019 – March 31, 2022)
- General wage increases of 2 per cent in each year
- Addition of wage top-up for maternity and parental leaves
- Improvement to extended benefits
