BC Transit and employees represented by CUPE Local 4500 have ratified a new agreement under the B.C. government’s Sustainable Services Negotiating Mandate.
The agreement focuses on improving business services and ensuring fair and affordable compensation. CUPE Local 4500 represents approximately 20 Transit Supervisors and Transit Communications Coordinators working at BC Transit.
The agreement includes:
- Three-year term (January 1, 2021 – December 31, 2024)
- General wage increases of two per cent in each year
- Improvement to benefits
