Transit System: Central Fraser Valley
ABBOTSFORD – BC Transit and the City of Abbotsford are working
together so that it’s easier than ever to enjoy the Abbotsford International
Airshow. Leave your traffic and parking worries behind and let BC Transit take
you to aerial spectacle.
Central Fraser Valley Transit will run a shuttle service run from 9:40 am to
6:40 pm on August 10, and 11, 2012; and from 10:20 am to 5:40 pm on August 12,
2012. The shuttle departs from the Bourquin Exchange near the Seven Oaks Mall
and delivers riders to the Queen Street gate on the Airshow grounds. Trips run
every 20 minutes.
Regular fares apply for the Airshow shuttle: adults $1.75, senior/student $1.50
and children 4 and under are free.
Starting Friday, August 10, 2012 at 6 pm until end of service Sunday, August
12 you are encouraged to take advantage of BC Transit’s Family Travel Program.
Parents or guardians, who are 19 years or older, can bring two children, who
are 14 years or younger, on board the bus free when the adult pays the regular
fare or presents a valid bus pass.
