Transit System: South Okanagan-Similkameen
Penticton – Once again this year, the City of Penticton and BC Transit are making it easier for people to skip the parking and take the bus to the Peach Festival.
From Wednesday, August 8, to Sunday, August 12, route 5 Main Street will provide additional service, including Saturday-level service on Sunday. The route will run late into the evening, with the last bus leaving the festival site at midnight on all five days. Buses will use Veterans Way from Front Street, then turn left on to Lakeshore. There will be a temporary bus stop at Okanagan Lake Park (on Veterans, just before Lakeshore).
Regular fares will apply.
