Whistler – Beginning Saturday, November 17, Whistler’s early-winter transit schedule takes effect including the seasonal return of the free route 4 Marketplace shuttle and additional service on all local routes. You will also see these trips in real time when using the NEXTRide feature on
bctransit.com/whistler.
Full-winter service changes will be in effect on Saturday December 15 and will bring improved midday service on route 20X Cheakamus/Village and route 25 Whistler Creekside/Village, and more trips in the evening on Route 6 Tapley’s/Blueberry.
The new route 10 Valley Express will make its debut as a pilot project on Saturday, December 15. This new route will provide faster service and direct connections for passengers travelling between neighbourhoods north and south of Whistler Village at key commuter times, removing the need to transfer buses in Whistler Village.
The route 10 Valley Express and increased service on routes 20X, 25 and 6 are in response to feedback from transit customers as part of the development of the Sea to Sky Transit Future Plan, the Route 1 Valley Connector Review and through public engagement in spring 2018.
