BC Transit and MoveUP Local 378 have ratified a new four-year collective agreement.
The agreement reached is consistent with the B.C. Government’s 2025 Balanced Measures Mandate. The agreement provides a 3% General Wage Increase (GWI) in each year of the four-year agreement, plus an additional 2% in funding to improve service delivery and enhance working conditions.
The renewed agreement also reflects the mutual interest of the Union and BC Transit, and their shared strategic plans and operational initiatives.
MoveUP represents approximately 300 administrative employees in various departments at BC Transit.
BC Transit thanks MoveUP Local 378 for a collaborative bargaining process. The organization also thanks our employees for continuing to provide safe and reliable public transit for our customers.
The previous collective agreement expired on March 31, 2025. The terms of the new agreement are from April 1, 2025 through March 31, 2029.
