BC Transit and the City of Cranbrook are advising customers of an upcoming fare change in the region, effective August 1, 2026.
This fare change will see the cost of a single ride fare for all passengers increase to $2.50 and 30-Day passes will increase by $5 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.

This is the first fare change in Cranbrook since 2011 and with the cost of operating transit growing, this increase will allow the city of Cranbrook to continue to invest in transit service.
