BC Transit, the City of Nelson, the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary and the Regional District of Central Kootenay are announcing a free transit event, effective June 24, 2026.
A ‘Canada Celebrates the FIFA World Cup™’ watch party is being held at Lakeside Park in Nelson on June 24. Transit, including handyDART service, will be free across the entire West Kootenay system to make it easier for people to take part in this event.
