BC Transit and the City of Kelowna are happy to announce free transit for those attending and taking part in the Memorial Cup tournament from May 22 – 31, 2026 at Prospera Place.
Transit will be free for anyone with tickets to the Memorial Cup and for volunteers with badges. Free transit applies to all local routes and includes handyDART service.
Games at Prospera Place start on May 22 and run until the Championship game on May 31.
There will be several other events taking place in Kelowna to help celebrate the historical hockey tournament that has been played since 1919. For more information on events taking place, click here.
Detours will be in place today (May 21) between Hot Sands Beach and Stuart Park for the Memorial Cup Arrival Parade from 4 – 6 p.m., also impacting the Queensway Exchange. Riders should expect delays and check alerts before heading out.
