Effective May 1, 2026, all transit service in the Bella Coola Transit System will be provided by BCV Stagecoach Express.
Transit service in the Bella Coola Transit System will not be impacted by this change in operating companies, including operating times and fares.
BC Transit would like to thank the Bella Coola Valley Bus Company for their years of commitment to providing exceptional service in the region. They will continue to operate service until April 30, and all current Bella Coola Valley Bus Company employees will remain in their current roles with BCV Stagecoach Express.
BCV Stagecoach Express is a locally owned company. They will assume the existing agreement, which will run through March 31, 2028, with allowable future extensions.
