BC Transit and the Resort Municipality of Whistler are advising customers of a seasonal service change, effective April 19, 2026.
With the end of the regular winter ski and snowboard season, service levels will be reduced on several routes across the system including:
- Route 5 Upper Village/Benchlands
- Route 7 Staff Housing
- Route 20X Cheakamus Express
- Route 31 Alpine
- Route 32 Emerald
The following routes will be seasonally discontinued:
- Route 4 Market Place
- Route 25 Whistler Creek
- Route 33 Alpine/Village via Spruce Grove
Free service on Route 7 Staff Housing will be seasonally discontinued.

Effective April 19, there will be a fare change in Pemberton that may affect some passengers traveling into Whistler. The new Dual DayPASS will replace the Pemberton Commuter DayPASS. This new pass will be available as a one-day Dual DayPASS for $12 or as a Dual 30-Day Pass for $130 monthly, and can be purchased on Umo. This pass allows for unlimited trips on Route 99 Pemberton Commuter between Pemberton and Whistler, as well as all routes in the Whistler Transit System and Pemberton Transit System.
