BC Transit and the Victoria Regional Transit Commission are advising customers of a seasonal service change, effective April 13, 2026.
Some minor schedule changes are coming to the following routes:
- Route 11 Tillicum Centre/UVic
- Route 27 Gordon Head/Downtown
- Route 28 Majestic/Downtown
- Route 32 Cordova Bay/Royal Oak Exchange
- Route 70 Swartz Bay/Downtown
- Route 71 Swartz Bay/Downtown
- Route 72 Swartz Bay/Downtown
- Route 75 Saanichton/Royal Oak/Downtown
As part of the West Shore transit plan, Route 57 Thetis Heights/Langford Exchange will be re-routed in the Thetis Heights area, running on Hansen Avenue instead of Phelps Avenue.
To better serve the growing development along Constellation Avenue in Westhills and connect to PEXSISEN Elementary and Centre Mountain Lellum Middle School, there will be select peak time routing adjustments made to Route 58 Goldstream Meadows/Langford Exchange.
With the spring ferry schedule, improvements will be made to Route 70 Swartz Bay/Downtown daily service and Sunday service on Route 72 Swartz Bay/Downtown.
Service improvements to Route 75 on weekdays (Keating Cross to Downtown) and weekends (Butchart Gardens) to accommodate commuter and tourism demand.
Route 76 Swartz Bay/UVic will be seasonally discontinued until the fall.
Seasonal reductions are being made to routes that serve post-secondary schools in the region.
