Transit System: Mount Waddington
BC Transit and the Regional District of Mount Waddington are committed to providing efficient and responsive transit service for our communities. This winter, we’re making adjustments to better align service with rider demand.
To ensure resources are focused where they’re most needed, Route 6 Woss will not operate this season due to consistently low ridership. This change allows us to maintain reliable service on other key routes throughout the year. The Saturday schedules for Route 1 Port McNeill, Route 2 Port Hardy, and Route 5 Coal Harbour will continue without interruption.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to share that minor service improvements are planned for early spring 2026, aimed at enhancing convenience and reliability for riders.
