Transit System: West Coast
BC Transit and the Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District (ACRD) are announcing a seasonal service change, effective October 5, 2025.
As part of this change, weekday trips at 9:20 p.m. from Ucluelet and the 10:25 p.m. from Tofino will be seasonally removed from service.
While meeting service in the Millstream neighbourhood will continue to be important, we recognize the impact it is having on the community. As a result, every second trip on Route 1 Tofino/Ucluelet has been eliminated.
The ACRD and BC Transit continue to work with partners at the Ministry of Transportation and Transit to evaluate alternate options for suitable stop locations to serve the Millstream neighbourhood, including possible highway locations.
