Transit System: South Okanagan-Similkameen
BC Transit, the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen and the City of Penticton are advising transit customers of seasonal service change, effective September 2, 2025.
To adjust to an increase in demand with the school year starting, some trips on Route 5 Main will be adjusted.
The 9:25 a.m. trip on Route 10 Naramata, departing from Cherry Lane Shopping Centre, will be removed for the season. As well, trips added to Route 16 Lake to Lake for the summer evenings will be removed.
As part of this service change, Route 50 Penticton/Princeton will stop at the Similkameen Rec Centre for all trips and the on-request stop in Cawston will be removed.
