Have your say on future transit service in Squamish
Transit System: Squamish
3 March 2025
BC Transit and the District of Squamish are seeking feedback on a frequent transit route between downtown and Garibaldi Village, as well as options for new service in south Squamish. The creation of a new Frequent Transit Network will affect other transit routes as well.
Visit the project webpage at engage.bctransit.com/squamish2025 to learn more about this project and find out how to get involved. Open houses will also be held at the following times and locations:
Friday, March 7 2 to 5 p.m. Community Meeting Room Squamish Public Library
Saturday, March 8 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Junction Park near Farmer’s Market
Engagement runs from March 3 to 24, 2025. This project proposes big changes for transit in Squamish. Feedback from the public is an essential part of making sure this future service works for as many people as possible.
The feedback customers provide during this engagement will be used to help determine the specifics of the new transit service. There are many things to consider when introducing new service, and BC Transit and the District of Squamish will do their best to serve the community’s needs with the resources available.
