Funding
Transit service in the Victoria Region is funded through four main sources: provincial contributions, local government contributions, fuel tax and passenger fares.

The total cost to run the service last fiscal year was $196.8 million. Funding for the system came from transit fares (operations) and bus advertising ($37.5 million or 19.1 percent), BC Bus Pass ($5.2 million or 2.6 percent), local government property taxes (transfers) ($75.4 million or 38.3 percent), fuel tax ($17.5 million or 8.9 per cent) and provincial funding (transfers) ($61.2 million or 31.1 per cent).
