CAMPBELL RIVER – Feel free to let BC Transit operators take care of your driving worries on Canada Day. BC Transit and the City of Campbell River are encouraging everyone to enjoy a safe and happy holiday by taking a free ride on July 1, 2013.
This is the fourth consecutive year Campbell River will have free BC Transit service on Canada Day.
Service will be limited to the following scheduled routes:
| Route #1 Dogwood | 10:45am, 11:45am, 12:45pm, 1:45pm, 2:45pm, 6:15pm and 7:15pm |
| Route #2 Alder | 10:15am, 11:15am, 12:15pm, 1:15pm, 2:15pm, 5:45pm, 6:45pm and 7:45pm |
| Route #4 Campbellton | 10:45am, 11:45am, 12:45pm, 1:45pm, 2:45pm, 6:15pm and 7:15pm |
| Route #5 Rockland | 11:15am, 1:15pm, 5:45pm and 7:45pm |
| Route #6 Oyster River | 10:15am, 12:15pm, 2:15pm and 6:45pm |
| Route #7 Petersen | 10:15am, 11:15am, 12:15pm, 1:15pm, 2:15pm, 5:45pm, 6:45pm and 7:45pm |
| 8 Shoppers Shuttle | 12:00pm, 2:00pm and 6:30pm |
*route times begin at the terminus
Transit service on July 1st will halt temporarily between 2:45 and 5:45 p.m. to accommodate the Canada Day Parade. When the parade ends, service will resume to ensure spectators get home safely.
