Transit System: Powell River
POWELL RIVER – BC Transit and the City of Powell River are announcing a seasonal service change in the Powell River Transit System effective September 1, 2020.
BC Transit works hard to match service with demand. This service change will see service in the transit system return to regular weekday service and weekend service on all routes as of September 1.
Service was reduced as of April 6, 2020 to a modified Sunday plus level of service in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As part of this service change, service on route 14 Lund on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday will be seasonally discontinued from September to June.
Please be advised that the Quality Foods stop on routes 2 Grief Point and 3 Upper Westview has been relocated to the corner of Joyce at Abbotsford.
