Umo Refunds

You can request a refund for eligible Umo products by contacting Umo Customer Service. The following Umo products are eligible for refunds:

Cash Balance

You can request a refund for Umo cash balances of $10 or more.

Fare Products

You can request a refund for an unused Umo Fare Product. Refunds are not available if the fare product has:

  • Been partially used
  • Expired

How Umo Refunds Are Processed

Umo will review your request and confirm if it’s eligible. If your refund is approved:

  • Refunds are returned to the payment card linked to your Umo account.
  • If you bought the fare from a Umo vendor, Umo will collect your payment details.

BC Transit will then process the refund within 15 business days.
