Need to catch a second bus to finish your trip? A transfer lets you continue your journey without paying another fare, as long as you board your next bus within 90 minutes of your original trip’s departure time.
Pay with cash
If you’re paying with cash, request a paper transfer from the driver when you pay your fare. When you board your connecting bus, show the transfer to the driver with the time facing up.
Pay with Umo or Contactless
Your transfer is applied automatically when using a digital payment option. Simply tap or scan your original payment method on your connecting bus to continue your trip without being charged again.
Route 11 requires a separate fare
Transfers issued on local routes in the Terrace Regional and Kitimat transit systems can’t be used on the Route 11 Kitimat/Terrace Connector. You’ll need to pay a separate fare to ride this route.
