Your 25-Year Transit Future Plan
A Transit Future Plan envisions what a community’s transit network should look like 25 years from now, as projected and described by you. Beginning by looking at how the existing transit system could be improved, the Plan describes and prioritizes the infrastructure and investment needed to get there.
The Plan is complete! But the work has only just begun….
Your completed plan will guide “everything transit” in the region over the next 25 years. This plan is the result of your participation and input, and we’d like to thank everyone who took the time to get involved!
The Kamloops Transit Future Plan is now endorsed by the Kamloops City Council and approved by the BC Transit Board of Directors.

Public Engagement Results
The Tk’emlúps te Secwe̓pemc Band, BC Transit, and the City conducted public consultation in December 2017 on proposed transit service to the Tk’emlúps te Secwe̓pemc land area, as identified in the Kamloops Transit Future Plan. Results from this public consultation can be found here:
