The governments of Canada and British Columbia invest in electrification of public transit in British Columbia
Today, Patrick Weiler, Member of Parliament for West Vancouver—Sunshine Coast—Sea to Sky Country, the Honourable Rob Fleming, B.C. Province announces changes to BC Transit Board of Directors
Today, the Province of BC announced the appointment of Central Saanich Mayor Ryan Windsor to the BC Transit Board of Directors. He will replace Sooke Mayor Maja Tait, who has chosen to step down from her role on the Board.

Canada and British Columbia invest in new transit exchange for Nelson
Today, the Honourable Harjit S. Sajjan, Minister of International Development and Minister responsible for the Pacific Economic Development Agency of Canada, Brittny Anderson, Member of Legislative Assembly for Nelson-Creston, Her Worship Janice Morrison, Mayor of the City of Nelson, and Erinn Pinkerton, President and Chief Executive Officer of BC Transit, announced a joint investment of more than $2.4 million to support the construction a new transit exchange in Nelson.

Red Mountain ski bus wraps up another season
BC Transit, the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary and the Regional District of Central Kootenay are advising customers that the West Kootenay Transit system ski bus, route 48 to Red Mountain, will end service on Sunday, March 26, 2023.
