How Fares Work

In this section, you will discover how to use cash fare and passes, transfers, and how to become a vendor.

Cash Fare

A Cash Fare allows one person to use transit. Please have the correct fare ready before you enter the bus.

10 Tickets

Each ticket is good for one person to use transit for 60 minutes. When you purchase a package of 10 tickets, you often receive a discount.

Monthly Pass

If you need to take transit regularly throughout the month, a Monthly Pass offers a discount for unlimited travel.

Annual Pass

The Hazeltons' Annual Pass is good for a year's worth of travel within the Hazeltons.

BC Bus Pass

The BC Bus Pass Program offers a reduced cost, annual bus pass for low income seniors and individuals receiving disability assistance from the Province of British Columbia.

Zone Descriptions

Zone 1 Local: including travel to Gitsegukla and Gitwangak on local Routes 31 and 32.

Zone 2 Regional: travel from Hazeltons to Witset and Smithers.

Zone 3 Regional: travel between Hazeltons and Terrace, Kitsumkalum and New Remo.

Monthly Pass

The Monthly Pass offers a discount for unlimited travel through the month.
