Weather alerts are set at the system subsite level in Appearance > Customize > Weather Alerts
This weather banner will appear at the top of the page
The settings for this alert are:
- Show Alert (toggle) – This alert will be disabled until this checkbox is enabled
- Description
- Link label
- Link URL – for ‘Read more’ or similar style link
- Open in new tab – typically used for external links
- Hide cookie after close – Can set how many days this banner will be hidden after a user closes it
- Alert date – Can set a date to have this alert expire. If no date is set, it will have to be manually disabled by the BC Transit team
