On request service is pick-up and drop-off service for areas not served by regular routes. Passengers will have an opportunity to travel to and from the conventional Comox Valley Transit service. Any location within the designated area shown on the maps below qualifies. Examples of locations are: a house, childcare centre, or employment site. All customers are eligible to use this service.

On Request Service
On Request service is an extension of 13 Seal Bay and 14 Union Bay fixed-routes. Any location within 1.5km driving distance of the fixed-route qualifies. Approximate extents of the on-request availability areas are shown in yellow on the Route maps. Everyone is eligible to use this service.
On Request service is limited to two additional stops per trip, on a first-come first-serve basis.
Pick-up: Call 24 hours ahead to arrange your trip. Bookings received less than 24 hours ahead are subject to availability.
Drop-off: Ask the driver when you board.
The times listed below show the approximate times when service will be available to Cape Lazo/Point Holmes area and Huband Road/Seal Bay areas.
Service operates Monday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays. When you book your trip, the dispatcher will provide you with an estimate of your pick up and drop off time.
You must book your trip at least two working days before travel. Call during office hours. To cancel, call or leave a voicemail after hours.
There are two types of bookings accepted:
One-time trips: trips for purposes such as shopping, social visits or recreational activities.
Regular trips: for trips once a week or more often, such as for therapy appointments or to and from work.
