Seasonal end of free weekend service in Whistler

BC Transit and the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) are reminding the community that Labour Day, Monday, September 1, 2025, is the last day of the annual Free Summer Weekends and Stat Holidays on the Whistler Transit System.

This free transit is part of the Whistler Transportation Action Plan Free Summer Weekend program, funded by revenues from Day Lots 1-5 and courtesy of the RMOW and Whistler Blackcomb. Labour Day, Monday, September 2 will also be the last day of the Lost Lake Park and Rainbow Park free shuttles which operates from Post 4 at the Gondola Transit Exchange.

There will be bonus free service offered on Thanksgiving weekend (October 11-13, 2025) and on Truth and Reconciliation Day (September 30, 2025).
