A pre-qualified vendor list is a roster of vendors that has been assessed and approved by BC Transit based on predetermined evaluation criteria for specific goods or services. On an as and when requested basis, BC Transit may directly invite the pre-qualified vendors to participate in a solicitation when a need arises. A pre-qualification process does not constitute a purchase of goods or services from BC Transit. It is simply to pre-qualify market players for future acquisitions.
How To Be Qualified?
BC Transit posts all its pre-qualification opportunities on BC Bid. Interested vendors may search for the “Request for Supplier Qualifications” (RESQ) postings from BC Transit and participate in accordance with the instructions provided. Upon receipt of a submission, BC Transit will evaluate based on the criteria set out in the RESQ. Should the submission be successful, the participating vendor will become a pre-qualified vendor.
