BC Transit and the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) are happy to announce that transit will be free on the Victoria Day long weekend, including Saturday May 17, Sunday May 18 and Monday May 19, 2025.
On holiday Monday, buses will be running on a regular weekday service, please check with the Rider’s Guide before heading out.
The free transit for the Victoria Day long weekend is part of the free summer weekend program, which is funded by parking fees from Day Lots 1-5. Transit service will be free on all weekends and Statutory Holidays starting June 21 until Labour Day, September 1, 2025.
We encourage our customers to use Umo, Google Transit or any other app of their choice for real-time bus tracking and planning your next trip.
